ERP — managing implementation on the client's behalf

I help manufacturing companies prepare for and carry out ERP implementations. I act as the project manager on the client's side, drawing on my experience as a process analyst and implementation consultant.

We can start working together as soon as you begin considering an ERP implementation. The starting point is your company's needs, the way it operates and the problems the system is intended to help solve.

Let’s discuss your project

Preparing the company for implementation

I help define the project's goals, agree its scope and prepare the organisation for implementation. This includes building the project team, assigning responsibilities and establishing how the people involved will work together.

At this stage, we identify the problems that need to be solved and agree how to assess whether the implementation has achieved its purpose.

Choosing the system and supplier

I support requirements preparation, evaluation of the solutions presented and comparison of proposals. I also help define the scope of work covered by the agreement with the supplier.

I base the choice of solution on the company's processes and goals. My main area of expertise is manufacturing companies and the connections between production, logistics, warehousing and accounting.

Managing the project

I represent the client throughout the implementation and coordinate cooperation between their team and the system supplier. Depending on the agreed scope, my role includes:

  • coordinating the tasks and responsibilities of project participants;
  • monitoring the schedule, budget and scope of work;
  • analysing processes and clarifying requirements;
  • resolving issues that arise during implementation;
  • coordinating testing, acceptance and preparations for launch.

My experience in analysis and implementation allows me to combine project management with an understanding of the company's day-to-day operations.

Preparing the data

I also prepare the data needed to launch the ERP system. This may include extracting data from existing applications and datasets and converting it into the format required by the new solution.

We agree the scope of this work based on the existing data sources and the requirements of the new system.

Scope of work and assessment of results

We define the scope of work and responsibilities in the agreement. I manage the project through the launch of the agreed system scope that enables the company to begin using it in its operations. Subsequent implementation stages require a separate agreement.

Success is assessed by whether the specific problems identified at the start of the project have been resolved and the agreed business goals achieved.

Let's discuss your ERP implementation

Tell me what is prompting you to implement ERP, which problems you want to solve and how far your company has progressed with preparations. We can start the conversation even if you have not yet defined the scope or chosen a system.

I primarily work with clients remotely, including meetings. On-site visits can be arranged individually.
